A FLOWER festival will return for a second year this summer.
The second annual Durham Flower Festival will be held at East Durham College's Houghall campus, near Durham City, on August 29 and 30.
There will be competition categories including flowers, floral art, fruit, vegetables, food and art, as well as exhibitions, trade stands, demonstrations and more.
Organisers are now taking applications from stallholders.
Show secretary Dianne Howe said: "Last year's inaugural Durham Flower Festival went really well and we are hoping to continue to see it grow this year.
"Stallholders make up a big part of the event and we had some great ones on display. As well as seeing many of them back this year, we would love to see many new ones here at the festival."
