TWO people have been arrested after a city centre disturbance.
Police were called to an incident involving a number of people outside the Lebaneat and Shaheens restaurants in Durham City on Wednesday, December 10.
No-one suffered serious injuries in the incident, which took place at 5.25pm close to a white van parked at the side of the road in North Bailey.
Two people from the Cleveland area, a 15-year-old boy and a man aged 30, were arrested during the incident on suspicion of affray.
Both were questioned and released on police bail until February.
Officers say they believe a number of potential witnesses may have seen at least part of what happened and have asked anyone with information to contact PC Darrell Brown at Durham City police office on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111.
