A NORTH-East First World War hero is the subject of a talk this weekend (Saturday, October 18).
Brigadier General Roland Boys Bradford, who was born in Witton Park, County Durham, displayed outstanding military leadership and won the Victoria and Military Crosses.
Military historian Harry Moses will explore his approach in a talk at the DLI Museum, Durham City, on Saturday.
