FORMER Newcastle United and Sunderland players will go head-to-head on the golf course for charity.
The Red and White v Black and White charity golf day will be held at Ramside Golf Club, near Durham City, on Friday, October 3.
The SAFC team will be led by 1973 FA Cup winner Micky Horswill, while ex-Magpies forward Alan Shoulder will spearhead the Newcastle line-up.
Guests are invited to take part to raise money for North-East children’s charity Hope4Kidz.
The day will include breakfast, 18 holes of golf, a pre-dinner drinks reception, evening meal and question-and-answer session with the ex-professionals.
There will be prizes for the winning player, team and tee shot that lands nearest the pin, plus an auction and other competitions,
