FORMER BBC Radio 1 DJ turned politician Mike Read addressed a public meeting in the region at the weekend (Saturday, February 8).
The 66-year-old, now a Magic 1458 presenter, is culture and media spokesman for the United Kingdom Independence Party (Ukip).
He spoke at the Salutation Inn, in Framwellgate Moor, Durham, on Saturday afternoon.
