CHRISTMAS CONCERT: Dunelm Round Table is to stage its annual Senior Citizens Christmas Concert at Framwellgate Moor Working Mens Club on Sunday, December 8. Doors open at 1.30pm and the event a buffet tea, entertainment from popular singer Alan Mason and Christmas carols. Transport to the event is available, but strictly limited and any clubs, carers or community associations interested in further information should call Will Greeves on 0191-386-2602.
FESTIVE FAIR: The Friends of Belmont Community School will hold a Christmas fair from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, November 23 in the school sports hall. There will be more than 40 craft and gift stalls, a visit from Father Christmas and competitions including a Wii winter challenge.
FLOWER DEMONSTRATION: Dunelm Flower Club’s Christmas Demonstration takes place on Thursday, November 21 featuringTom Hodge from Southport, who will give us a demonstration entitled "The Magic of Christmas". The event takes place at Durham High School For Girls, on South Road, Durham. Doors open at 6.15pm for nibbles and Bucks Fizz, while the demonstration starts at 7.30pm. Admission is £6 for members or £10 for guests and more information is available from Wendy Smith on 0191-384-8983.
