St Andrew’s Methodist Church, in Coxhoe, near Durham, holds the latest of its monthly Shoppers’ Services on Saturday (October 5), from 10 -10.30am.

Staged on the first Saturday each month since the church’s new main building was developed more than five years ago, the ‘user-friendly’ half-hour services are intended to supplement, rather than replace, the regular Sunday morning worship. The speaker at Saturday’s service is a familiar face to regulars among the congregation, St Andrew’s own Minister, the Reverend Christopher Wood-Archer.
