A SCHOOL is asking for the public to support pupils to send them on a dream holiday by taking part in an online vote.
St Mary’s Primary School, in Blackhill, is one of five schools shortlisted in the North-East and is in with a chance of spending a weekend at Katmandu Park in Majorca next month.
It secured a place with a poem about the resort written by 11-year-old Marlie-Leah Lynch, which was entered in the jet2holidays – Ultimate School Trip competition.
Marlie-Leah said: “It’s a great opportunity for us. We will have such a good time if everyone votes for us.”
