A FLASHER exposed himself at a woman and her teenage daughter as they walked home together.
The pair were walking in Leadgate, near Consett late at night when they were approached by a man with his pants around his ankles.
After he had exposed himself, the man left in a car, thought to be a blue or black hatchback.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at around 11.45pm on August 31 on the new road into Leadgate, where the old bridge has recently been removed.
The man is described as wearing a checked shirt with a white T-shirt with a circled logo on it with thick, black rimmed glasses and a cap.
Anybody with any information, is asked to ring Consett Poliice on 101 and ask for PC Simms.
