POLICE have said the death of 31-year-old man found at a flat in Leadgate is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers cordoned off the flat on Front Street on Saturday morning and launched an investigation.
A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said: "We can confirm the body of a 31-year-old man was found at a flat in the Leadgate area of Consett on Saturday.
"Police are treating the death as non-suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner".
