A JEEP adventure across India raised more than £18,000 for a cancer charity.
Cousins Steven Parker, Derek Barsby and Steven Clark, from Consett, and Keith McGinn, from Kent, took part in an epic 2,400-kilometre road trip from Jodphur to Goa in January to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Driving under the team name Cricketers United, the cousins initially hoped to raise £10,000 for charity, but in the end brought in £18,230.
They also donated 125 junior cricket shirts and playing equipment to schools and orphanages along the route.
Mr Parker said: “Cricketers United would like to thank everyone who sponsored us in our charity fundraiser in India for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
“Over the past nine months we have received some fabulous support from wonderful friends, family and work colleagues.
“Thank you all so much for the kind donations."
