POLICE are investigating the theft of 84 cartons of milk from Leadgate Primary Lower School. The cartons were taken on the morning of Wednesday, December 14 from the school on West Street, Leadgate. PC Louise Burgess from Consett Police, said: "The milk is delivered each day and paid for by school funds to ensure each child gets a carton. We hope that someone knows the person responsible and gets in touch with us."
Anyone with information should call Consett Police on 101.
