A CHARITY boxing show is being held featuring young fighters from the Consett area.
It is being staged at Blackhill Club on Saturday December 17, from noon.
The show is organised by Consett and District YMCA, which is also currently looking for private sponsorship and level two boxing coaches to help at the club.
David Twiname, 25, who recently became the ABA Tyne Tees and Wearside Champion in the under 81 kilo division has also been given a job as a Princes Trust team assistant.
Chief executive Billy Robson said: “He has not let me down, going from strength to strength within the job role and his potential as a first rate boxer.”
