ACCIDENT: The crash near Lanchester
TWO women were taken to hospital after being freed from after a car crash this morning.
An Audi A1 and a Kia Rio collided near the Three Horse Shoes on Maiden Law Bank, near Lanchester, in County Durham, at 7.50pm.
Police and fire crews were called and part of the emergency response and firefighters freed to woman using specialist cutting equipment.
A police spokesman said the women were not thought to be seriously injured.
