A MASTERCLASS offering women coping with cancer beauty tips while they are undergoing treatment will be held later this month.
The Tesco store in Consett is to host the class run by national charity Looking Good Feel Better on Thursday, August 27.
The free skincare and make-up class takes place from 1.30pm to 3.30pm in the supermarket’s community room and is open to women being treated for any type of cancer.
Classes offer tips to help women combat the visible side effects of their cancer treatment, which can be demoralising for patients.
Led by volunteer beauty professionals, classes take patients through a specially designed skincare and make-up regime including skills such as how to look after sensitive and dry skin as well as learning how to recreate missing eyebrows and lashes.
To book a place, please call Kirsty on 07933 670387..
Any beauty professional who would like to volunteer for the Look Good Feel Better scheme should contact the charity directly on 01372 747500 or www.lgfb.co.uk.
