ORGANISERS are putting the finishing touches to an annual countryside show, which is being held this weekend.
The 63rd Lanchester Agricultural Society Show is being held on Sunday (July 5) at Newhouses Farm, on the A691 near Lanchester in County Durham.
The event usually attracts crowds of people to enjoy a mixture of competitions and activities, which includes vintage tractor show, crafts, a bouncy castle and beer tent.
One of the main attractions is the horse classes, which includes jumping as well as showing.
The show runs from 8.30am to 5pm. Admissions costs £5 and £3 for concessions. Free car parking
Entries can still be made for the horse classes, in advance or on the day.
