A MAN born in the North-East is trying to trace four sisters he has not seen for 36 years.

Andrew Winter was born in a caravan on a farm in Burnopfield, County Durham, to Robert Winter and Muriel Brown in 1976.

His father was a pool attendant at the swimming pool in Consett and the family lived in South Stanley.

When Mr Winter was three he moved to New Kyo with his father.

He said: “My sisters’ names were Jacqueline, Heather, Carol and Marion Brown.

“All of them are older than me. I have not been in contact or seen any of them since.

“They were all born in the 60s from around 1961. I have recently been told that our mother Muriel passed away and also that Carol is now Beaumont and Marion is wood.

“Heather is still Brown but Jacqueline re-married and I don't know what her surname would be.”

Mr Winter, who now lives in Norwich, said they all attended Leadgate Junior School in the late 60s and Carole is the oldest.

Anyone who can help reunite Mr Winter with his family is asked to email him at bigwint1.aw@gmail.com
