A VISITOR attraction in the North-East is bringing live lambing direct to people’s homes.

Hall Hill Farm, near Lanchester, is installing a live video feed on its website with 24 hour live streaming of the lambing season.

The ‘Lamb Cam’ will enable people to see the birth of little lambs live on their computer screens.

Tourism manager Ann Darlington said: “We like to keep introducing new ideas here at Hall Hill Farm.

“Our Lamb-Cam proved very popular last year with hundreds of people commenting via social media about what they were able to see online and asking questions.

“The streaming will show everything from live births, feeding, frolicking and snoozing.

“Hopefully, we can both entertain and educate visitors at the same time so they get to know more about the countryside and farming.”

Over 100 lambs are born to Mule ewes on the farm each year.
