PING PONG:

Lanchester Community Centre are running table tennis session between 7pm and 9pm on Wednesdays.

Two Championship Table Tennis Tables are available as well as coaching from the English Table Tennis Association. Admission is £1 for under-16s and £2 for over-16s.

MOBILE SKILLS:

A free session to teach people over 50 how to use their mobile phones is being held at Consett library 2pm-3.30pm on Tuesday April 1.

GET FIT:

A circuits class for people over 40 is being held at St James Church Hall in Burnopfield on Thursdays from 1.30pm-2.30pm.

Sessions cost £2 with the first session free.

PLAY GROUP:

A pre-school playgroup takes place at the Lanchester Community Centre every morning from 9.15am-11.15am during term time.

A Tiny-Tots session for up to two-year-olds also runs on Wednesdays and Fridays between 9.15am and 10.45am.

IN SHAPE:

Chi Kung classes for the over 50s are held at St Mary's Parish Centre in Chester-le-Street on Fridays from 1pm-2pm.

STAY HEALTHY:

An over-50s class is taking place at the Lanchester Community Centre’s Fitness Suite. The hour-long sessions run every Thursday from 8.45am. No need to book.

PILATES CLASS:

A series of Body Perfect Pilates classes are taking place every Sunday at 5pm in Belle Vue Leisure Centre, Consett. Admission is £3.90. For information call 01207-218151.
