DAREDEVIL volunteers who are prepared to walk over burning coals are needed by two local charities.
A firewalk is to take place in Chester-le-Street on Saturday, October 14 which will raise money for Bullion Hall community centre and ME North East.
Fearless volunteers are needed to take part in the event, which lasts around two hours and begins with a motivational session led by Scott Bell, two time Guinness World Record Holder for the greatest distance walked on fire.
The seminar lasts around an hour, during which time the fire is lit ready for walking on.
Volunteers are asked to pay a £20 registration fee and ideally will raise around £100 for the charity.
