A MAN has appeared in court charged with robbery at a village store.
Kevin Lee, of Albert Street, Grange Villa, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court today.
The 30-year-old did not enter a plea during the hearing.
The charge follows an alleged incident which took place at the Premier Store, in Grange Villa, near Chester-le-Street on Sunday afternoon.
Mr Lee was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Durham Crown Court on Wednesday, August 30.
