A THREE-vehicle crash led to the closure of a lane on the A1(M) motorway in County Durham.
The accident happened just before 8am on the southbound carriageway between Chester-le-Street and Durham.
One lane was closed wit traffic queuing back to Washington Services and Go North-East buses diverted through Chester-le-Street.
A spokesman for Durham Police said the accident was cleared and the road fully reopened shortly before 8.30am.
