MORE than 100 vintage vehicles and locomotives are going full steam ahead at an annual museum show.
Beamish Museum in County Durham is hosting the four-day Great North Steam Fair, which started yesterday.
The event features magnificent locomotives, traction engines, steam rollers, cars, lorries and motorbikes.
Visitors are able to see more than 15 road steam vehicles and about 90 internal combustion vehicles in action.
Among the highlights are narrow gauge locomotive River Mite, towed by the road engine Providence.
There will also be demonstrations of timber logging and threshing and baling with traction engines.
