DETAILS have been announced of an annual dog walk to raise money for a hospice.
Paws For A Cause will take place at Riverside Park in Chester-le-Street on March 5, raising much-needed funds for St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham.
The day will begin with a Fun Dog Show, featuring prizes for the Best Fancy Dress, Happiest Dog, Handsome Hound (male) and Prettiest Pooch (female).
Entry is £1 per dog, per category and all entries can be made on the day.
Registration starts at 10am and the dog show gets underway at 11am.
It will be followed at 12.30pm by a sponsored dog walk, with a choice of one-and-a-half mile or three miles route.
