A MAN who left another seriously injured has admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Lee Alexander, 35, pleaded guilty the section 20 assault charge today (Wednesday, October 5) at Durham Crown Court.
The attack took place, near the Job Centre, on Station Road, Chester-le-Street, at around 1pm on August 10 and left a man in his 20s badly hurt.
Alexander, formerly of Pelaw Crescent, Chester-le-Street, is now living at Plains Farm in Sunderland.
The father-of-three has been granted conditional bail and must return to court on December 9 to be sentenced.
