A STAGE version of the classic tv sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo will open its cafe doors next week.
Dryburn Theatrical Workshop is producing its own version of the BBC favourite, set during the Second World War, featuring hapless café owner René, tone-deaf wife Edith, stranded British airmen and the French Résistance.
Group chairman Lee Passmoor said, “This is a hugely funny show which will provide a great evening’s entertainment for all audiences.”
The show takes place at Chester-le-Street Community Association, in Newcastle Bank, from Tuesday to Friday, September 27 to 30, with curtain up at 7.15pm each night.
Tickets are all £7 on the opening night, and, thereafter, £8 for adults and £7 for children and concessions. They are available on 0191-388 3362 or (07468) 607420.
