A PEDESTRIAN suffered minor cuts after he was struck by a car at Plawsworth, County Durham.
The incident happened in the early hours of Friday morning.
Cleveland and Durham Road Policing Unit said on Facebook that the accident happened on the A167.
"Turns out the pedestrian has minor cuts and bruises however the driver of the vehicle currently in custody after failing the roadside breath test," they wrote.
