POLICE are appealing for information following arson attacks on cars.
Two cars were set alight in the Fencehouses area, near Chester-le-Street, overnight between Thursday, August 6 and Friday, August 7.
The first happened between 11pm and 12am on Garland Terrace and the second between 12.05am and 12.15am, on Bankhead Terrace.
At just after 4am, on Friday (August 7) another four cars were reported on fire in Somerset Street.
Inquiries into the fires are underway and police are keen to speak to any witnesses.
