CUSTOMERS at an opticians are being offered the chance to win a £200 prize as part of efforts to raise money for Comic Relief.
The Specsavers store in Front Street, Chester-le-Street is asking customers to submit a selfie of them pulling a funny face while wearing their limited edition Red Nose Day glasses.
The winner will get a pair of single vision designer specs, up to the value of £149, and a hamper full of accessories worth £50.
Red Nose Day glasses are available from the store for £3, with £1 donated to Comic Relief.
Store director Ross McLachlan said: “We really wanted to offer something back to our customers as a way of thanking them for supporting this amazing campaign.
‘Whether it’s at home, work or school, we want to encourage everyone, young and old, to get involved in making their faces funny for money”.
