THIEVES have stolen a transit van containing dozens of hospital tunics and cricket club hoodies.
A Durham Police spokesman said thieves have forced their way into the white transit van parked outside a property on Medomsley Road, Consett, at about shortly before 1pm on Saturday.
Inside the vehicle were a number of high value tools, along with distinctive clothing items, including a box of 40 charcoal-coloured Rizues hospital tunics, and 30 AWD navy and gold Leadgate Cricket club hoodies.
Anyone with information about the stolen vehicle (registration number NL08PWK) or any of the stolen items should contact Durham Police on 101 and quote incident number Incident DHM-26052018-0109.
