A RED quad bike and tools were stolen during a burglary.
Thieves broke into Riding Hill Stables on Kyo Lane, in Stanley, between 5pm on January 31 and 10am February 1.
A spokesman for Durham Constabulary said: “The suspects broke into the stable building and managed to cut the hinges of a steel container. A red quad bike was stolen along with various tools.
“The suspects used a battery from the victim’s JCB to start the quad bike.
“Two other addresses in the area were also burgled overnight, and police believe the incidents to be linked.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Durham Police on 101, quoting incident number 84 of February 1.
