POLICE, Crime and Victims’ Commissioner Ron Hogg is carrying out a tour of County Durham to get a better understanding of the issues affecting various communities.
Residents will able to chat to him during a series of drop-in sessions over the next few weeks.
Mr Hogg said: “I want to gain a real understanding of local concerns.
“I want to hear the good and the bad, and hear the positive and negative stories, so that I work with you to identify solutions to help keep our communities safe.”
The drop in sessions are: Monday January 22, 9.30-11.00am, The Tearoom, Durham Dales Centre, Castle Gardens, Stanhope, DL13 2FJ; Monday January 22, 12noon-2pm PACT House, 39 Front Street, Stanley, DH9 0JE; Tuesday January 23, 2pm-3.30pm, Clayport Library, Millennium Place, Durham, DH1 1WA; Friday January 26, 10am-12noon, East Durham Trust, Community House, Yoden, SR8 5DP; Monday January 29, 10am-11am, Spennymoor Library, Cheapside, Spennymoor, DL16 6DJ; Monday January 29, 11.30am-1pm, Chyrelle Adams Cancer Support Centre, Royal Corner, Crook, DL15 8UA and Monday January 29, 2pm-4pm Red Hall Community Centre, Headingley Crescent, Darlington, DL1 2ST.
