CAROL singers from a primary school have been entertaining elderly care home residents.
Pupils from Dene House Primary School in Peterlee performed at Bannatyne Lodge Care Home as part of Christmas celebrations.
The home also hosted entertainer Shirley Mack, who performed festive songs such as Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree and White Christmas, as well as Tina Turner classics, for the festive party.
Lynn Chapman, home manager at Bannatyne Lodge Care Home, on Manor Way, said: “The carol singers from Dene House Primary School were brilliant.
“Everyone agreed it was a delightful way to welcome Christmas.
“We also had fabulous entertainment from popular singer Shirley Mack, who brought a smile to everyone’s faces.”
