A FIRE has seriously damaged two sheds on a County Durham allotment.
Two large sheds were seriously damaged in the blaze at Easington Colliery yesterday morning.
Fire broke out just before 11.30am and two crews from nearby Peterlee Fire Station brought the fire under control.
A spokesman for County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire destroyed two large sheds but thankfully no one was injured”.
