CRASH: The A1(M) south of the Bowburn interchange
POLICE and highways officials have fully reopened the A1(M) between the Bowburn and Bradbury junctions following an accident early on Saturday.
Durham Constabulary said there had been a collision on the southbound between Junction 61 and Junction 60.
A Highways Agency spokesman said the incident involved "a vehicle that has left the carriageway".
