STUDENTS hope to have raised more than £10,000 by staging a charity fashion show.

Durham University’s 32nd annual Charity Fashion Show was held in a marquee on Palace Green on Friday and Saturday nights (February 6-7).

More than 900 guests attended and all the money raised will go to the anti-human trafficking campaign Stop The Traffik.

The theme of the event was Couture to Chaos.

Hannah Matthews, one of the organisers, said: “The event went really well. The exec (executive committee) are very pleased with the outcome.

“We hosted 900 guests over the two nights, including some of the exec and models’ parents who assured me they too enjoyed it.”
