A MAN has been arrested after two men were stabbed in a North-East pub.
Police are appealing for information after the attack in the Blue Bell in Victoria Square in Felling, Gateshead.
The incident happened at around 7.10pm on Saturday, August 29.
Two men aged 49 and 52 suffered stab wounds and both were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.
Enquiries are ongoing into the assault and police are appealing for witnesses.
Extra officers are in the area to carry out enquiries and offer reassurance to the public.
