A KIND-hearted cleaner has been praised for re-uniting eight people with their lost mobile phones in just five weeks.
Graham Bradley’s recent record came to the attention of his employers, Durham County Council, after he returned a lost driving licence and bank cards to their rightful owner and she contacted the authority to pass on her thanks.
Mr Bradley, who works in Durham City, said: “I love my job. It’s a pleasure helping people in this way – particularly because it’s expensive to replace valuable items like these.”
His boss, Oliver Sherratt – the council’s head of direct services, said: “We’re very grateful to Graham, as I’m sure are the people whose property he has returned, for his public-spirited actions.”
