AUDIENCES will have the ‘time of their life’ at a Dirty Dancing soundtrack tribute show.
An Evening of Dirty Dancing will be at the Gala Theatre, Durham on Friday, May 8.
The show has been on the road for five years and stars Julian Essex-Spurrier, who has appeared in Saturday Night Fever, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Starlight Express.
He is joined by Aimie Atkinson, winner of the BBC Radio 2 contest Voice of Musical Theatre.
Director Paul Spicer said: “The atmosphere is always electric.
“We totally encourage our audiences to get out of their seats and immerse themselves in the summer of ’63.
“People leave the theatre on a real high. I’ve seen someone burst into tears of happiness.”
The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £20, or £19 for concessions. To book, call 03000-266-600 or visit galadurham.co.uk
