NORTH Durham Labour MP Kevan Jones is adding a new village venue to the monthly advice surgeries he holds for constituents.
He will be at the Community Centre, in Front Street, Great Lumley, near Chester-le-Street, between 11am and 11.45am on the first Saturday of each month starting on November 1.
The change means new timings for the other surgeries he holds elsewhere in the area.
The Stanley surgery will be now held in a new venue, the Prince Bishops Community Bank in the town’s Front Street.
From November 1 the surgeries will be held at St Mary’s and St Cuthbert’s Parish Centre, Church Chare, Chester-le-Street, from 9am to 10.30am.
The Community Centre, Front Street, Great Lumley 11am to 11. 45am; The Library, Plawsworth Road, Sacriston, noon to 1.30pm; the Prince Bishops Community Bank, 25-33 Front Street, Stanley, 1pm to 2.30pm.
No appointment is needed to attend any of the session, at which people can raise issues or seek help from the MP.
For further information people can call Mr Jones’ office on 0191-371 8834.
