A CHARITY music festival was held across four city centre venues today (Sunday, October 19).
Oxjam Durham is part of a national festival, which saw more than 50 bands perform across seven venues in Darlington last Sunday (October 12).
This weekend, more than 30 local bands and artists played at The Fish Tank on Neville Street, The Bishop Langley off Framwelgate Bridge, Osbournes on Elvet Arch and The Library on Saddler Street.
Among the acts were Sam Gibson, Death to Indie, Jen Stevens and The Hiccups and Life After Alice are the headline acts at the four venues.
Organiser Emily Pearson said: “It has been absolutely busy. We have ten hours of music, raising money for Oxfam.
“It is the city’s very first takeover event. It is going really well. People have been donating generously.
“We have been really lucky with the weather too.”
Oxjam is an annual event which has run since 2006.
