RELATIVES of a young leukaemia sufferer have been raising money for a charity that brought a smile to his face.
Harrison Turnbull, from Shotton Colliery, east Durham, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in April 2011, aged 17 months.
Earlier this year, Make-A-Wish UK sent the dinosaur-mad youngster to the National History Museum.
Now his family has helped bake a dinosaur cake to raise money for the cause, as part of its Bake-A-Wish baking fundraiser.
Harrison’s mother Kate said: “We had so much fun at the bakery and encourage others to get involved with a Bake-A-Wish.
“Whether you create your own edible wish to raise funds or hold a general bake sale in the community, the money raised will help grant more magical wishes to children like Harrison.”
