A COUPLE who have rented their TV from a finance company for more than six years have been rewarded for their loyalty.

Catherine, 42, and Kevin Clough, 46, from Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, are one of Gateshead firm, Buy As You View's, longest-serving customers.

They were recently awarded a hamper as a surprise Christmas present and as a thank you for their custom Mother-of-three, Mrs Clough said: "We've been Buy As You View customers for six and a half years and we've bought various items of furniture including a three-piece suite, a TV and a mattress.

"The service has been brilliant and we're very happy with Buy As You View.

"The whole family are coming over for Christmas and I'm cooking dinner so the hamper will definitely come in handy."

John Smith, marketing director at Buy As You View, which sells electrical goods and furniture through a TV meter-payment facility, said: "We value our customers and like to reward them where we can. Catherine and Kevin have been very loyal customers and have recommend friends and family to us over the years so we wanted to surprise them and send them a little thank you in time for Christmas."
