PEOPLE anxious about payingmounting bills can receive free advice onmoneymatters.
Caseworkers from Middlesbrough Partnership's financial inclusion group will offer help and support from 9.30am to 1pm next Tuesday at St Timothy's Church, the Viewley Centre, in Hemlington, Middlesbrough.
They will offer practical support with debts, loans, benefit checks, homelessness, rent arrears, job searches and back-to-work calculations.
The group's chairman, John Daniels, said: "We're all feeling the effects of the cuts and domestic budgets are under greater pressure than ever, so it's essential that people know what they're entitled to - and where to go for help when they need it."
Councillor Julia Rostron, Middlesbrough Council's executive member for community protection, said: "It's more important than ever for people to be able to access sound, impartial advice and that's exactly what's on offer at the free advice day."
