A CHARITY is getting into the St Patrick's Day spirit with a sponsored Leprechaun Leap fun run.
Participants will be able to don a leprechaun hat and beard before setting off on the 3km run round Middlesbrough's Centre Square, on Saturday, March 17, to raise money for Teesside Hospice.
Fundraising manager Jane O'Byrne said: "This event will be lots of fun and a great way to help Te esside Hospice care for local people with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. We are encouraging runners to raise as much sponsorship as possible, and as an incentive to the person with the largest amount, they will win a prize."
Registration, which costs £5and includes a leprechaun hat and beard, is from 10.30am with the run starting at 11.30am.
