A TEENAGE girl was lifted of her feet by a car which sped off without stopping.
The 13-year-old escaped with a cut and bump to her head but PC Michelle Hutton said it was 'incredible' she suffered only minor injuries.
The incident happened at 6.10pm on yesterday near to the Corpus Christie School on Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough.
The vehicle, described only as dark coloured, was travelling along Cargo Fleet Lane towards Ormesby, Middlesbrough when it collided with the girl.
PC Hutton said: "It is unbelievable the driver did not stop to check her condition."
