Putting on the Ritz

PEOPLE can enjoy a touch of Hollywood at a charity black tie dinner next month.

Teesside Hospice is hosting the event at the Thistle hotel, in Middlesbrough, on Saturday, October 2, from 7pm.

Guests can sing and dance the night away with the help of music from the Gary Grace Swing Band.

Tickets cost £45 per person, which includes a three-course meal.

Michelle Holborn, events fundraiser for Teesside Hospice, said: “I’m really excited about this event.

It’s going to be packed with lots of Hollywoodthemed surprises and there are some excellent prizes on offer, which have been donated by local businesses.

“I’m hoping the event is going to raise in excess of £8,500.”
