Lifeboat helps fishing boats

Hartlepool RNLI volunteer lifeboat crew went to the assistance of two fishing vessels off the coast of Hartlepool on Friday morning.
A 32ft boat radioed for help at 7.07am. The all-weather lifeboat, Betty Huntbatch, was launched and on the scene three miles east of Hartlepool.
The second call out was at 10.40am to a 20ft boat that had suffered a mechanical failure two miles east of the Heugh.
The inshore lifeboat was sent.
Both vessels were towed back to Hartlepool Marina.
