NEW mums-to-be are being encouraged to do their bit for the environment by using real nappies instead of disposable ones.
A pregnancy and baby fair is set to take place at County Hall in Durham on Saturday which will include initiatives to promote a campaign to use real nappies.
Real nappy advisors will be on hand at the fair, organised by The National Childbirth Trust, to show how reusable nappies have changed in recent times and offer advice on a £30 cash back scheme for parents buying nappies worth £50 or more.
The fair will take place in The Durham Room at County Hall between 10am and 2pm.
