Missing men

GROWING CONCERN is mounting for a man from the area who has not been seen since leaving his home, Friday afternoon, 22nd July.

The missing man, Martin Fletcher is 44 years old, from Weardale Crescent, Billingham.

Cleveland Police said: ”It is out of character for him to have gone missing.” They are appealing for any information that might help locate Mr. Fletcher.

He is wearing a green army style camouflage jacket, a green tee shirt with a cartoon character on the front, blue jeans and grey walking boots.

Mr. Fletcher, or anyone who has seen him or has information about where he is, please call Stockton 01642 302226.

Unfortunately another local man, 55 year old Terry Robson, the town clerk for Spennymoor Council, is also still missing.

He had left a note to his wife telling her that he was going to some allotments nearby.

He never arrived, but his car was later found in Alnmouth, outside the ‘Oak and Anchor’ pub, Northumberland Street.

Newton Aycliffe police 01325 314401 are interested to hear from anyone who might have seen Mr. Robson, who wears a diabetic bracelet, to contact them.
